UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH OF MENDOTA, IL

Rev. Yeakel has been a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International since 1977.  He has served as an evangelist, youth minister in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and has pastored several churches in Illinois - Auburn, Rochelle, and Oak Valley (Ramsey).  Rev. & Mrs. Charles Yeakel have served as pastor of the Mendota church since January 2004.  They also served 11 years previously as assistant pastor and co-pastor in Mendota. 

Rev. & Mrs. Harold Koonce served as pastor for 26 1/2 years before their retirement at the end of 2003.  They continue to be a blessing as members of our congregation.

Randy and Pat have been a part of our congregation since January of 2008.  Randy is a licensed minister and also serves as a worship leader and Christian Education Director.  Pat teaches our Toddler class during the Christian Education service and is great interior decorator.  They have been a great blessing to our assembly.

John and Linda have been a part of our church since February of 2008.  John has been a licensed minister for several years and also serves as a worship leader.  John and Linda lead the Abundant Life Fellowship group in our church.  They are a wonderful asset to the church.

The James Hollingworth family have been a part of our church since December of 2007.  James is a licensed minister and assists the pastor as a worship leader and minister.  Virginia is the music director. She is a very talented vocalist, pianist and song writer.  They also teach the Youth Class during the Christian Education Hour.  They have five children and are a wonderful blessing to our congregation.  In addition, they are leading the effort of establishing a daughter work in the LaSalle-Peru area.
